What are our candles made of?

We start out with soy wax, cotton wicks and phthalate-free fragrances and essential oils.

Why soy wax you ask? Well, soy is a natural, renewable resource. It offers a cleaner burn, and burns longer than traditional candles. If you happen to spill some wax, just wipe it up with a damp towel. It’s really that easy.

I chose cotton wicks that are flat braided with paper threads woven into the cotton. This reinforced option allows for a straighter wick during your long burning sessions. It also allows for a more consistent burn over the life of your candles.

Cleaner fragrances are key. When the option is available, I select phthalate-free fragrances and true essential oils. This allows me to offer you a safer, non-toxic candle that you’ll feel comfortable enjoying in your home or office.

All of my glass vessels and tins are reusable. Once you're done enjoying your candle, remove the remaining wax and wick, wash out with warm soapy water, dry and enjoy! You’ve got a brand new vase, jewelry box, holder for craft items, you name it. The options are limited.
